STEM Up's tutoring program provides free tutoring for girls from pre-K through high school, removing financial barriers to quality academic support primarily in science, english, and math however open to all subjects. The program is entirely virtual and open to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, so all a student needs to participate is access to a computer. The program was built around a simple principle: a girl's access to strong academic support shouldn't depend on her family's income.

Through this program, girls are paired with tutors who help them build confidence in subjects that can otherwise feel intimidating or out of reach, especially in communities where tutoring is expensive or hard to find. Tutors go through an  orientation before getting started and are in charge of preparing their own study materials catering to the needs of their   tutee thus, ensuring every student receives consistent, quality support. Our goal isn't just to help with homework, it's to give every girl the right to take ownership of her own education.
